The 12-Foot Teepee

I started writing as soon as I could form letters and have never stopped. This book grew inside me until, one day, something clicked and I knew I had to write. I sat down at the keyboard one sunny July afternoon and for all practical purposes, didn't get up for 7 months.

That's what the book is about, really. Living the life you haven't chosen, but living it well, finding joy, being happy ... regardless of your problems, obstacles, issues.

 I thought that life would be simpler as time marched one, but nope, not happening!

Life with our tribe, five intrepid canines and a peculiar assortment of local wildlife, from fisher cats and bobcats, to birds, hornets, skunks, cheeky chipmunks and other beasts has made life a continuing adventure.

I have been a professional writer my whole life, but this is my first published novel.
